A Negroni cocktail with sparkling wine instead of gin - a happy, delicious mistakeIngredients
- 1 measure of Hazy Summer Mead
- 1 measure of Valentia Island Sweet Vermouth
- 1 measure of prosecco or other sparkling wine
Method
- Mix the mead and Vermouth in a glass full of ice
- Top with Prosecco
- Garnish with an orange twist
Sbagliato means “mistake” in Italian. The story is that a lucky bartender was making a Negroni cocktail and grabbed sparkling wine instead of gin, resulting in this happy, delicious mistake. We just replace the campari with Hazy Summer Mead.
