Mead Royale Cocktail

This twist on a classic berry-flavoured cocktail calls for just two ingredients in a 50:50 ratio—Wild Red Mead & Prosecco or sparkling wine!

Ingredients

  • 1 part of Wild Red Mead
  • 1 part of your favourite Sparkling Wine

Method

  • Pour Wild Red Mead first
  • Top with lightly chilled champagne
  • Garnish with a strawberry

Mead Royale is a play on the classic Kir Royale cocktail which uses creme de cassis & champagne – some creative soul in the Meadery decided to substitute creme de cassis with our Wild Red Mead which is made from Wexford blackcurrants and luscious dark sweet cherries
