The Mead Boulevardier

The Boulevardier cocktail is on the up, following in the wake of the Negroni cocktail. Made with spicy whiskey, Amaro such as Campari and Wild Red Mead.

Ingredients

  • 35ml Wild Red Mead
  • 25ml Blacks Irish Whiskey
  • 15ml Campari

Method

  • Fill a tumbler with lots of ice and add all the ingredients.
  • Stir for 10 seconds
  • Garnish with an orange twist & a rosemary sprig
  • Like Negroni, the Boulevardier is stirred, not shaken. More on the fascinating history here.
