Kate returned from Krakow, Poland at the European Mead Championships/ MMC, the biggest mead competition on the planet, with Gold & Bronze medals!
Our Hazy Summer Mead won the Gold medal, making it the best off dry, mixed fruit mead IN THE WORLD! The Wildflower Mead took home the Bronze medal in the Semi Sweet Mead Category! This is the only mead we make from Irish honey so as we consider it also a win for our West Cork Wildflower honey. A huge competition judged by our fellow meadmakers.
We’re overjoyed with the love our Meads continue to receive; it makes our upcoming 10 year anniversary that much sweeter. Thank you for your steadfast support, encouragement and need for mead!
