How to get to Kinsale from Cork City on public transport
There is bus from Cork city centre bus station to Kinsale, the 226 via the airport. It takes about an hour
or the 228 direct which takes about 45 minutes.
There is also a Local Link bus 253 that goes from Kinsale along the Wild Atlantic Way to Clonakilty – a delightful slow trip which can take between 1 and 2 hours depending on the time of day.
They all drop off and pick up at the stop in the Centre of Kinsale in the car park by the tourist office. See our directions page to get to the meadery from there.
The 254 Ballinadee bus starts in Bandon with several stops to Kinsale including the main car park, then via Ballinspittle and Kilbrittain to Ballinadee and back again!
