Autumn is upon us and as the sunny summer evenings mellow to cooler nights, this new chill in the air has us turning on the heating for the first time in months and cuddling up on the sofa with a cosy blanket and a glass or two of mulled mead.
Here, we’ve taken a classic mulled red wine or gluhwein recipe and replaced the harshness of the bold, sometimes harsh tannins of red wine with the smoothness and welcome fruitiness of our Wild Red Mead. Gently warmed and gently spiced. Sip it outside watching the sun go down and the moon rise, with your fleecy blankets for warmth, of course!
