A Miskey is an Irish Mead aged in Irish whiskey casks to bring in the flavours of the wonderful single pot still Irish whiskey that was in there before as well as the wood and the beautiful honey.

Our Miskey range are Irish drinks, unlike anything you’ll have tasted before – a world first! And only 11-12% ABV so a light wine strength.
We have made three Meads made from carefully selected honeys, aged in different, very special Irish whiskey casks from the talented and world-renowned Irish whiskey producers at Midleton distillery.
Lush and honeyed with the whiskey tingle very much present, beautifully balanced with layers of flavours from the honey, oak and whiskey flavours, finished semi -sweet. A revelation for those who love whiskey’s flavours but are looking for something softer, lighter and more nuanced.
The Story of the Miskey
This journey began in 2022 with a chance conversation with the talented team from Midleton Distillery about what we might create by bringing mead and whiskey together.
We chose two different wonderful honeys, chosen to complement the two different Irish whiskey casks. We fermented, matured and then filled the casks. Each took its own sweet time to age and bring in the oak and whiskey notes, finally tasting and bottling the resultant meads over the next couple of years.

The standard serve size is 125ml, so a small wine glass size. We love it slightly chilled. It's wonderful in a stemless wine glass or curved whiskey tumbler so you can truly appreciate the aromas & flavours
It's so good, you just have to share it! We suggest sharing with friends or even with dessert.
